JBF Mid-Cities Consignors earn 60% of their items sold. If you choose to volunteer, consignors earn 70%. There is also a $10 Consignor fee that automatically comes out of your check. Once the sale ends, you can expect to receive your check in about 2 weeks.
You can tag anytime! Our tagging site is open year-round, so get a jump start on your tagging.
It is very important that you enter your profile information on the tagging site correctly. Please double check that you entered the correct consignor number. When entering the number, do not include any dashes (-)
Before you begin, please read the information on the Merchandising Prep Page for complete instructions for how to package and tag your items. Due to liability issues, we cannot accept items that are not prepared following these guidelines.

To speed up the drop off process, have your consignor waiver already printed and signed and your self-addressed envelope ready to turn in. Also, have your clothing items grouped by sizes.
CONSIGNOR PRESALE SHOPPING DAY:
Thursday, August 1 - Consignors and one guest can shop at 1:00 p.m. If you can not make it at 1:00, you are welcome anytime after 1:00 with your pass.
Friday, August 2 - Half Price Presale for Consignors at 8:00 p.m.
NO CHILDREN ALLOWED AT THE PRESALES!
PICK UP DAY: Sunday, August 4, 3:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Checks will be mailed 2 weeks after the sale ends.

Want to sell MORE than just your kids items?
Furniture sells incredibly well at JBF. In fact, we offer the opportunity to sell all kinds of children's, juvenile and household furniture.
To keep our reputation of "only the best," JBF asks that you be very selective about the quality of your furniture. All furniture must be intact and sturdy, without excessive scuffs or signs of wear.
Acceptable Items: Dining room sets, bedroom furniture, end tables, coffee tables, chairs, bookcases, armoires, hutches, desks, rocking chairs/gliders, porch furniture (wicker, rocker, porch swings), bunk beds, twin beds, toddler beds, chest of drawers, cribs and changing tables.
Unacceptable Items: Mattress sets (except infant/toddler) couches, T.V.s and ANY furniture items that look worn or outdated. Remember we want only your best items!

The better your clothes look (and smell), the higher your sales will be! Think fresh and clean here. We’ve got some great info for you on how to make the most of your item sales.
Bring clothing on hangers. (You will not get the hangers back, but whatever you buy will go home with you on hangers!)
Iron your clothing and make sure your items smell clean and fresh.
Replace any missing buttons.
Make sure all hanging items have a sale price of at least $3. If one item isn't worth that much, add it to something else. No hanging items less than $3 will be accepted.

Do you have items you would love to consign but do not have the time to prepare? We have the answer for you!

If you don't have enough time to tag, we are pleased to offer a special valet tagging service. Daniele Clark and her experienced team will be working with our moms who would like to take advantage of a valet tagging service instead of tagging themselves. By working exclusively with Daniele, you will be able to earn the same 65% on your items as other consignors. The fee is simply $1/item (to be taken out of final checke), plus a $25 supply fee (due when items dropped off).
Daniele's services include: inspecting items (although we highly recommend that you do the best inspection you can first!), researching for fair market value, creating tags, communicating with you so that you can approve the prices, printing the tags, affixing the tags, taking the items to the sales event and placing them in their appropriate places at the sale.
After the sale is over, you can either pick up any unsold items or donate them to Open Arms and Bread For a Hungry World. JBF will mail you a check for 60% of what your items sell for! What could be easier?

Large toys and baby equipment tend to sell quickly. Tag these items first. Since they are bulky and big, you will be glad they are not taking up space in your house any longer.
They are usually higher priced items and you will love that money in your check.
When tagging clothes, typically size 2T to 6 sell the best. Many people receive baby clothes for gifts so there is always a lot to choose from in the smaller sizes. Many times there are more girls clothes than boys to choose from at the sale. If you are tagging boys and girls clothes, start with the boys first.
We accept toys, seasonal clothing, maternity, books, shoes, games, outdoor play equipment, feeding supplies, baby equipments such as swings, bouncers, pack n plays, strollers, nursery decor and so much more.
We can not accept drop side cribs, bedding, VHS tapes, stuffed animals, stained or out of season clothing. Thank you for your help!
